# Zombie love story prompt: free AI zombie trend prompts

The three exact Seedance 2.5 prompts behind our 24-second sample — cold clip, frame edit, warm clip — plus a one-take version, a 15-second version, short two-clip prompts and pet and family variants. Free to copy.

Updated October 5, 2026 · By the Zombie AI Video team

The zombie love story prompt describes two halves: a cold standoff where @Image1 aims a gun at @Image2, who has turned into a zombie, and — after a hard cut mid-leap at about 11 seconds — a warm memory where the same hug lands in a sunlit meadow. Give the model two reference photos and keep one detail (a locket, a collar tag) in both halves.

## The exact prompts behind our sample

Our home-page film was made with **Seedance 2.5** from the two reference portraits on the [examples page](https://zombieaivideo.com/ai-zombie-video-examples). Each couple sample is two Seedance 2.5 clips — an 11-second cold clip and a 13-second warm clip — joined on the same running step: the cold clip ends while she is mid-stride, that frame is edited into its sunlit version, and the warm clip starts from the edited frame, so she keeps running in the same direction across the hard cut. The music is an original score; the breathing, the zombie's scream and the laughter are the model's own on-screen sound.

1. **Clip 1, cold (11 s):** @Image1 is the person who holds the gun, @Image2 the person who turns. The last shot is a static side view: she sprints in from the right toward him.
2. **Edit the cut frame:** take the frame where she is mid-stride and ask an image model for the same framing in a sunlit meadow, with her human again.
3. **Clip 2, warm (13 s):** start from the edited frame (@Image1) and let her keep running into his arms.
4. **Join:** cut clip 1 on that frame and clip 2 from its first frame — no transition.

Clip 1 · cold · Seedance 2.5 · 11 s · 16:9 · two reference images

```
Cinematic live-action short film, photorealistic, 16:9, 11 seconds, film grain, shallow depth of field. @Image1 is Leo (short messy dark-brown hair, stubble, navy field jacket over a grey hoodie, dark-green backpack). @Image2 is Mia (wavy copper-red hair, freckles, cream cable-knit sweater, small silver locket). Keep both faces and outfits identical to the photos in every shot.
COLD, the whole video: A modern minimalist room in a mountain lodge with huge floor-to-ceiling windows; outside, snowy alpine peaks under an overcast sky. Cold blue-grey daylight from the windows, teal colour grade, tense and quiet. Both characters appear: Leo in shots 1, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9; zombie Mia in shots 2, 4, 7 and 9.
[0.0-1.8 s] Shot 1: close-up of Leo aiming a black handgun past the camera, the gun out of focus in the foreground.
[1.8-3.1 s] Shot 2, WIDE SHOT over Leo's shoulder, his backpack in the foreground: across the room, standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with the snowy mountains behind her, is zombie Mia — clearly the same woman as @Image2: same face shape, same shoulder-length wavy copper-red hair, same cream cable-knit sweater and silver locket; only her skin is ashen grey with dark veins, her eyes are milky white with no pupils and her teeth are yellowed. Human and recognisable, not a skull, not a monster, no blood. She growls.
[3.1-4.1 s] Shot 3: frontal medium shot of Leo, both arms straight, gun raised, the windows beside him.
[4.1-5.3 s] Shot 4: CLOSE-UP of zombie Mia — clearly the same woman as @Image2: same face shape, same shoulder-length wavy copper-red hair, same cream cable-knit sweater and silver locket; only her skin is ashen grey with dark veins, her eyes are milky white with no pupils and her teeth are yellowed. Human and recognisable, not a skull, not a monster, no blood; the silver locket is visible at her neck.
[5.3-6.5 s] Shot 5: extreme close-up of Leo's face, eyes wet with tears, lips trembling.
[6.5-9.0 s] Shot 6: the same frontal medium shot, one continuous take: Leo slowly lowers the gun, lets it drop to the floor, then opens both arms wide.
[9.0-9.6 s] Shot 7: close-up of zombie Mia opening her mouth and bursting into a run toward him, copper hair flying.
[9.6-10.0 s] Shot 8: close-up of Leo closing his eyes, a tear running down.
[10.0-11.0 s] Shot 9, SIDE VIEW, static wide two-shot, camera perpendicular to the action at chest height, the windows and mountains behind them: Leo stands at the LEFT third of the frame facing right, arms wide open, eyes closed; zombie Mia sprints in from the RIGHT edge of the frame, running from right to left straight toward him, mid-stride, arms reaching forward, copper hair flying behind her. The shot ends while she is still running, one step away from him, before they touch.
Sound: NO music at all — no score, no soundtrack, no piano, no strings, no drones. Only natural on-screen sound: quiet room tone, wind against the windows, Leo's shaky breathing, the zombie's low growl, her running footsteps on the wooden floor. No dialogue, no on-screen text, no logos, no gore.
Cut frame → warm frame · image edit · three images
```
Keep the exact composition, camera angle, framing, poses and positions of @Image1 (the last frame of clip 1): a static side view; the man stands at the left third in profile facing right with both arms open; the woman is mid-stride on the right, running from right to left toward him, both arms reaching forward, copper hair flying. New setting: a sunlit alpine meadow full of small white and yellow wildflowers at golden hour, warm low backlight, snowy mountains far behind, warm amber colour grade. The woman is the same person as @Image2, healthy and joyful (freckles, wavy copper-red hair, cream cable-knit sweater, silver locket, blue jeans, brown boots). The man is the same person as @Image3, smiling (short dark-brown hair, stubble, navy field jacket over a grey hoodie, dark-green backpack). Photorealistic 35mm film still, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain.
```
Clip 2 · warm · Seedance 2.5 · 13 s · 16:9 · edited frame + two reference images
```
Cinematic live-action short film, photorealistic, 16:9, 13 seconds, film grain, shallow depth of field. @Image2 is Leo (short messy dark-brown hair, stubble, navy field jacket over a grey hoodie, dark-green backpack). @Image3 is Mia (wavy copper-red hair, freckles, cream cable-knit sweater, small silver locket). Keep both faces and outfits identical to the photos in every shot.
The video starts exactly on @Image1 as its very first frame: same framing, same poses, same light.
WARM, the whole video: a sunlit alpine meadow full of small white and yellow wildflowers, golden-hour backlight, warm amber colour grade. Mia is fully human: healthy freckled skin, green eyes, same sweater and locket.
[0.0-2.2 s] Shot 1, continuing the first frame with no cut: Mia keeps running from right to left, leaps into Leo's open arms; he catches her, spins once and they fall together into the flowers, both laughing.
[2.2-4.4 s] Shot 2: close-up of Mia lying on top of him in the flowers, smiling, Leo's hand cupping her cheek.
[4.4-6.4 s] Shot 3: close-up of Leo lying in the flowers, smiling up at her.
[6.4-8.4 s] Shot 4: from behind, low tracking shot, they run hand in hand toward the snowy mountains, his backpack bouncing.
[8.4-10.0 s] Shot 5: sunset from behind, they sit on the hillside, his arm around her, the sun low on the right.
[10.0-12.0 s] Shot 6: close side-back shot, golden backlight, Leo kisses the top of Mia's head.
[12.0-13.0 s] Shot 7: extreme wide shot, two tiny figures in a vast meadow under a pink and orange sky.
Sound: NO music at all — no score, no soundtrack, no piano, no strings, no drones. Only natural on-screen sound: wind in the grass, their laughter, distant birds. No dialogue, no on-screen text, no logos.

## One-take version (24 seconds, one generation)

Our first sample used this single 24-second prompt. It works in one generation, but the model may flip who stands on which side at the cut — which is why we switched to two clips.

Seedance 2.5 · 24 s · 16:9 · two reference images

```
Cinematic live-action short film, photorealistic, 16:9, 24 seconds, film grain, shallow depth of field. @Image1 is Leo (short messy dark-brown hair, stubble, navy field jacket over a grey hoodie, dark-green backpack). @Image2 is Mia (wavy copper-red hair, freckles, cream cable-knit sweater, small silver locket). Keep both faces and outfits identical to the photos in every shot.
PART 1, COLD, 0 to 10.9 s: a modern minimalist room in a mountain lodge with huge floor-to-ceiling windows; outside, snowy alpine peaks under an overcast sky. Cold blue-grey daylight from the windows, teal colour grade. Both characters appear in part 1: Leo in shots 1, 3, 5, 6 and 8; zombie Mia in shots 2, 4 and 7.
[0.0-1.8 s] Shot 1: close-up of Leo aiming a black handgun past the camera, the gun out of focus in the foreground.
[1.8-3.1 s] Shot 2, WIDE SHOT over Leo's shoulder, his backpack in the foreground: across the room, standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with the snowy mountains behind her, is zombie Mia — clearly the same woman as @Image2: same face shape, same shoulder-length wavy copper-red hair, same cream cable-knit sweater and silver locket; only her skin is ashen grey with dark veins, her eyes are milky white with no pupils and her teeth are yellowed. Human and recognisable, not a skull, not a monster, no blood. She growls.
[3.1-4.1 s] Shot 3: frontal medium shot of Leo, both arms straight, gun raised, the windows beside him.
[4.1-5.3 s] Shot 4: CLOSE-UP of zombie Mia — clearly the same woman as @Image2: same face shape, same shoulder-length wavy copper-red hair, same cream cable-knit sweater and silver locket; only her skin is ashen grey with dark veins, her eyes are milky white with no pupils and her teeth are yellowed. Human and recognisable, not a skull, not a monster, no blood; the silver locket is visible at her neck.
[5.3-6.5 s] Shot 5: extreme close-up of Leo's face, eyes wet with tears, lips trembling.
[6.5-9.6 s] Shot 6: the same frontal medium shot, one continuous take: Leo slowly lowers the gun, then opens both arms wide, the gun hanging loose in his right hand.
[9.6-10.2 s] Shot 7: close-up of zombie Mia opening her mouth and lunging toward the camera, copper hair flying.
[10.2-10.6 s] Shot 8: close-up of Leo closing his eyes, a tear running down.
[10.6-10.9 s] Shot 9: side two-shot, motion blur: Mia leaps into Leo's arms and wraps her arms around him.
HARD CUT exactly at 10.9 s, mid-embrace.
PART 2, WARM, 10.9 to 24 s: a sunlit alpine meadow full of small white and yellow wildflowers, golden-hour backlight, warm amber grade. Mia is fully human again: healthy freckled skin, green eyes, same sweater and locket.
[10.9-12.3 s] Shot 10: tilted wide shot: the same embrace, they fall into the flowers, Mia on top, both laughing.
[12.3-14.6 s] Shot 11: close-up of Mia smiling, Leo's hand cupping her cheek.
[14.6-16.6 s] Shot 12: close-up of Leo lying in the flowers, smiling up at her.
[16.6-18.7 s] Shot 13: from behind, low tracking shot, they run hand in hand toward the snowy mountains, his backpack bouncing.
[18.7-20.3 s] Shot 14: sunset from behind, they sit on the hillside, his arm around her, the sun low on the right.
[20.3-23.0 s] Shot 15: close side-back shot, golden backlight, Leo kisses the top of Mia's head.
[23.0-24.0 s] Shot 16: extreme wide shot, two tiny figures in a vast meadow under a pink and orange sky.
Sound: cold room tone, shaky breathing and a low growl in part 1; at the hard cut a soft emotional piano and strings swell, wind in the grass. No dialogue, no on-screen text, no logos, no gore.
```

## A 15-second version

For the classic length, compress the story to five beats. This works in one generation on models that support 15 seconds.

15 s · 16:9 · two reference images

```
Cinematic live-action short film, photorealistic, 16:9, 15 seconds, film grain, shallow depth of field. @Image1 is the survivor; @Image2 is the person they love. Keep both faces, hair and clothes identical to the reference photos in every shot.
0-4 s: a cold blue-grey cabin at dusk, snow outside the window. Close-up of @Image1 aiming a handgun, hands shaking, tears in their eyes. Over-the-shoulder reverse shot: @Image2 stands by the window, turned into a zombie — ashen grey skin, milky white eyes, dark veins, bared teeth, no blood.
4-6 s: extreme close-up of zombie @Image2's face; a familiar necklace is still visible.
6-8 s: @Image1 slowly lowers the gun, opens both arms and closes their eyes.
8-10 s: side view: zombie @Image2 runs across the room and leaps at @Image1.
10 s: hard match cut mid-leap — the same leap lands as a hug in a golden wheat field at sunset. @Image2 is alive and healthy, same clothes; both laugh and fall into the grass.
12-15 s: slow spin, warm backlight, pollen in the air, close-up of their faces.
Sound: cold room tone and breathing, then a soft piano swells at the cut. No dialogue, no text, no gore.
```

## The two-clip method (for 8–10 second models)

If your model only makes short clips, generate the cold half and the warm half separately, then join them with a hard cut on the leap in CapCut. Match the pose: clip 1 ends mid-leap, clip 2 starts mid-embrace.

Clip 1 · cold half

```
Clip 1 of 2 (cold, 8-10 s), 16:9, photorealistic: a cold blue-grey room with a window full of snowy mountains. @Image1 aims a handgun at @Image2, who has turned into a zombie (ashen skin, milky white eyes, dark veins, no blood). Close-up of @Image1's tears; @Image1 lowers the gun and opens both arms; zombie @Image2 runs and leaps toward @Image1. End mid-leap, arms reaching. Keep faces and clothes identical to the reference photos.
```

Clip 2 · warm half

```
Clip 2 of 2 (warm, 8-10 s), 16:9, photorealistic: start mid-embrace — @Image2 lands in @Image1's arms in a sunlit wildflower meadow at golden hour, both alive and laughing, same clothes as clip 1. They fall into the grass; close-up of a hand on @Image2's cheek; they run hand in hand toward mountains; sunset backlight. Keep faces and clothes identical to the reference photos.
```

## Pet, family and friend versions

Swap the cast and the recognition detail; keep the structure.

Pet version · 15 s

```
Cinematic short film, photorealistic, 16:9, 15 seconds. @Image1 is the owner; @Image2 is their dog. Keep both identical to the reference photos.
0-4 s: a cold blue-grey kitchen at night. Close-up of @Image1 holding a baseball bat, trembling. Reverse shot: @Image2 stands in the doorway, turned into a zombie dog — cloudy white eyes, matted grey fur, a low growl, no blood. Its red collar and round brass tag are still on.
4-6 s: extreme close-up of the brass name tag swinging on the collar.
6-8 s: @Image1 drops the bat and kneels with open arms.
8-10 s: zombie @Image2 sprints and jumps toward @Image1.
10 s: hard cut mid-jump to a sunny beach at golden hour: the same jump lands in @Image1's arms; @Image2 is healthy and wagging, same collar.
12-15 s: they roll in the sand, then run along the waterline at sunset. Soft piano. No gore.
```

- **Mom or dad:** replace the meadow with a childhood memory — a kitchen birthday or a first bike ride — and add a third reference photo from that time.
- **Best friend:** make the memory a road trip or a concert; the recognition detail is a shared bracelet.
- **Role swap:** exchange @Image1 and @Image2 so the other person holds the gun.

## Fixes for common problems

| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Faces drift | Sharper front-facing photos; repeat “keep both faces identical to the reference photos in every shot”. |
| Memory looks like a different person | Same clothes in both halves; name one fixed detail (locket, scar, collar tag). |
| Too gory | “No blood, no wounds, no gore”; describe ashen skin and milky eyes only. |
| The cut feels random | End the cold half mid-leap and start the warm half mid-embrace. |
| The leap changes direction at the cut | Make two clips: end the cold clip mid-stride, edit that frame into its warm version, and start the warm clip from it. |
| The model adds its own music | “No music” in the prompt is ignored. Keep the sound on, split the voices out with an audio separator and lay your own track under them. |
| Frame edit rejected | Leave weapon words (“gun”, even “no gun”) out of the image-edit prompt; one of ours was rejected for them. |
| Vertical crop cuts the faces | Ask for 9:16 and “faces and action centred in a vertical frame”. |

## Frequently asked questions

Is the zombie love story prompt free?

Yes. Every prompt on this page is free to copy and use, including the three exact prompts behind our 24-second sample.

Which AI model should I use for the zombie trend prompt?

Use an image-to-video model that accepts reference photos and keeps faces consistent. We made our sample with Seedance 2.5 as two clips — 11 seconds cold, 13 seconds warm — joined mid-stride. Seedance in Dreamina or CapCut, Kling and Veo also work; models limited to about 8–10 seconds need the shorter two-clip prompts below.

How do I reference my photos in the prompt?

Upload the photos as reference images in order and call them @Image1 (the person holding the gun) and @Image2 (the person who turns). Describe one detail that must survive both halves, such as a necklace or a collar tag.

Why does the face change between the zombie part and the memory?

The model drifts when the reference is weak or the zombie make-up is too heavy. Use sharp front-facing photos, keep the same clothes in both halves, describe one fixed detail, and ask for subtle zombie features around the eyes.

How do I stop the zombie looking gory?

Write “no blood, no wounds, no gore” and describe the change as ashen skin, milky white eyes and dark veins. That keeps the clip shareable on every platform.
